Abu's in the Hauz :D

That's right. This post is solely for my lovely, naughty lil bad boy. Let's start with a little story of Abu.

His name is Abu, age less than 1 year old. I don't know exactly and I'll tell more about him soon. I got him a few weeks ago, 3rd of September to be exact. My auntie brought him and two other cats, Bella (His mother, a Persian) and his sister all the way from Shah Alam, Selangor to Penang which is about 4-5hours drive (yep, long journey)

My heart jumps to the roof the day I found out that my auntie is serious about leaving them here at my grandparents house (in Penang) since they have too many cats (9 including the 3 cats that was bought to Penang) and since my cousin which is one of my auntie's children is living with my grandparents can take care of them, so here they are.

I immediately fall in love with this cat, we call him Abu because he is grey in color and grey in Malay is Kelabu, thus the name Abu sticks with him (if that makes any sense to you?). Anyway, I wanted to change his name but my cousin said don't and I also like the name so that's why he doesn't have any fancy name. I love him so much.

I always wanted to have a cat but since I have asthma, my dad won't let me (umm, that's what i think but I don't think my dad really likes cat, however, he does feed the stray cats behind our house). Since I read so much about cats being abuse and stuff, I decided to have him instead of buying a new cat.

And since my grandmother already have one cat, I though my taking one of the 3 newcomers can help her so that she don't have to think so much about the other cat and he loves to hide inside the house so that will be a problem for my grandma to find him and stuff. My cousin also quite busy thus he can't give much attention to all of them so I thought this is a sign for me. Hehe.  He's so adorable, plus he's so nice to me. So I have to have him.

Here are few pictures of his adorableness (is this word exist?) :

Abu's sleeping positions.

See how cute & naughty he can be?

Abu and his art to annoys me = Play with my pen whenever I try to study.

His hiding places = inside of a hanging Baju Kurung, under my cloth closet & inside my magazine box/stool.

Adopt a Cat or Dog to save these lives

The aim of the SPCA is to protect defenseless animals and to alleviate their suffering. Established in 1958, the SPCA provides temporary shelter to unwanted animals in Selangor and the Federal Territory. We try to rehome as many as possible, but with more than 600 animals arriving every month the shelter is constantly challenged by a shortage of space and limited funds.
The 6 Key Pillars of SPCA Selangor:

  1. SPCA Animal Shelter & Adoption Centre
  2. Inspectorate
  3. Humane Education
  4. Klinik Kembiri
  5. Government Lobbying
  6. MissionHELP : Helping People Help Animals

P/s; I didn't tell my dad, hopefully he's not angry.
And so far, my asthma is not attacking me even though I slept together with Abu.
It's a good thing, right? Hopefully my asthma will never ever come back.
Oh, bear with me please. I'm in the middle of my final examination now.
Wish me luck!
